GATE 2026 based M.Tech admission has been started through the CCMT (Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan) portal. Candidates with a valid GATE score can apply for admission in the participating institutes.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a valid GATE 2026 score and a B.Tech or B.E. degree in the relevant discipline with 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).
How to Apply: Register on ccmt.admissions.nic.in, verify the documents, fill the choices of institutes and specializations and lock them before the deadline.
Many NITs, IIITs and CFTIs also conduct their own M.Tech counselling based on the GATE score.
